How to Use Turmeric?

You can use this herb in the form of a paste containing other ingredients like tomato etc. This will make the application of turmeric much easier. Begin with mixing the turmeric (in form of powder) with raw milk, tomato juice and rice powder. You can leave this mixture for around 30 minutes.

Another way of using this herb is in the form of a night cream. For this remedy also you will have to prepare a paste. However, it will include turmeric powder and milk or yogurt only. You can mix any of the two together and apply before going to bed. There is no harm in leaving it as it is on the face overnight. However, do wash it thoroughly in the morning with the help of a normal cleanser.

Kesar (Saffron)

Kesar is also pronounced as saffron in some countries. It is widely used as a rich ingredient in Indian sweets. But very less people are aware of the fact that kesar is good at skin whitening too.

How to Use Kesar?

It is very important that you soak the strands of kesar in water to proceed for any other step. This should be done until the color of water starts turning yellowish. Next you have to mix either olive oil or raw milk in this yellowish water.

This mixture can be applied on the face with the help of a cotton ball. Make sure you cover the entire face properly. Try to repeat this 4 times a week for 15 minutes each to make your skin look glowing.

Aloe Vera

This is yet another popular ingredient found in several beauty products. Aloe Vera is known to possess anti-inflammatory, healing and cooling properties. It is used to treat skin problems like pimples, burns, rashes and allergies. Aloe Vera is quite skin friendly and protects the skin from any sort of harm like redness and allergies.

How to Use Aloe Vera?

Though, a lot of companies manufacture packed form of Aloe Vera gel. You can plant it in your garden as well. Extraction of Aloe Vera gel from its leaves is very easy. Moreover, you can apply this gel directly on the face as a cream or lotion. It will protect your skin from any sort of brake outs and dryness for pretty long time.

However, if you want to put this natural ingredient on your skin as a face mask then mix it along almond oil. You can use this gel almost daily to achieve a better skin texture.

Chandan (Sandalwood)

This herb is found to do wonders for the ones looking to lighten their skin color. It helps in reduction of acne, rashes and blemishes by leaving a cooling effect on the skin surface.

How to Use Chandan?

You can prepare a paste of chandan with help of several other ingredients. Each of them will help in achieving a specific skin problems’ solution.  Like a mixture of chandan powder with turmeric works well for pimples. Whereas, a mixture of five teaspoons of coconut and two teaspoons of almond oil with chandan powder helps in fighting tanning and sunburns as well.

Other than these herbs, quince seed and carrot also help in providing proper nourishment to the skin in a natural way!
